See why the regal exterior design of the Feadship Lady Christine turned many heads when launched in 2010.
The 68-metre / 223 feet Lady Christine was built for experienced owners who were involved in the whole build, visiting Holland at least once a month throughout the design and construction process. In doing so they pushed the boundaries for the exterior profile and the interior, redefining the meaning of excellence.
The exterior profile includes signature elements of a Feadship design such as the continuous and consistent detailing. Great care was taken with the fish eye windows on the main deck, the windows in the owner’s stateroom and the stanchion-free windscreens in the wheelhouse to create a beautifully distinctive design.
As you watch Lady Christine’s graceful progress, take note of the positioning of the wheelhouse. This is not in the usual ‘bridge deck’ location as the owners chose that place for their private observation lounge. The wheelhouse was moved down a level and the forward part of the deck was raised to create a complete owners’ deck. The forward sections of the three decks below were also raised, as a result of which Lady Christine has, in essence, six decks.
