Named after a legendary samurai warrior, Musashi is an inspiring synthesis of Japanese design and art deco-style elements.
Her exceptionally elegant 88-metre / 288 feet profile features clear lines and an optimal use of light and space. Musashi has a very recognisable Feadship style: see the proportion and weight distribution on top of the hull and the flare on the bow. She is also very much a statement of customisation, integrating curved bands of glass, a wealth of windows and space frames as a decorative and visible design element.
The balanced design of the exterior spaces allows owners and guests to choose whether to enjoy Musashi and her facilities together, or retire to one of the decks for more privacy. A good example is the sun deck – the ideal spot to take a dip in peace and quiet or to splash out with a party in and around the pool.
Using the very finest materials and finishing throughout, Musashi sets a new standard for a five deck-superyacht. The main deck has eight suites for guests, including two VIPs. There are two master staterooms: One on the third (upper) deck and another on the fourth (bridge) deck. This frees up the lower deck for technical spaces, crew, spa and gym, while the top deck is devoted to the spa pool and bar.
Other highlights to look out for are a central glass elevator, a main lounge which converts into a cinema, and a wheelhouse which Feadship designed with the captain to be pleasing to the eye and have unrestricted views. Fast forward skipper…
