Feadship launched their third largest yacht known as Faith / Project Vertigo (#1006) today. The 96.55m/ 316.8ft 2,999 GT yacht has a steel hull and aluminium superstructure. Redman Whiteley Dixon was responsible for her exterior lines, Chahan Interior for the interior and De Voogt Naval Architects for her naval architecture.
The yacht can accommodate 18 guests in nine cabins and up to 34 crew. Features are a nine-metre pool aft on the main deck, which lets light into the beach club below through its laminated glass panel floor and boasts a ‘water curtain’ feature. The beach club itself has an extensive wellness area, while sea terraces and windbreaks make it a flexible area. Other features are a cinema, gym, an elevator serving four decks and stowage for a Bell 429 helicopter on the foredeck which is strengthened for touch and go operations of larger models. The yacht is built to Lloyds class and MCA compliant and runs Twin 16V 4000 M63L MTU diesel engines which will give her a range of 5,000 nautical miles at 12 knots. Her cruising speed is 15 knots and she has a maximum speed of 17 knots. The yacht is fitted with Quantum zero speed stabilisers.
